Transforming Spaces: The Granite Plus Touch at Vier North

Welcome back to our blog, where we spotlight the remarkable projects that showcase our expertise and passion for creating spaces that make a statement. Today, we’re taking you behind the scenes of our collaboration with Vier North, an atmospheric bar that has become the talk of Milwaukee for its stunning design and the longest granite bar in the city.

Why Granite for Vier North?

The decision to use granite for the bar at Vier North was driven by the desire for a material that could withstand the hustle and bustle of a busy bar while providing a visually stunning focal point. Granite, known for its durability and elegance, was the natural choice for a bar with its fair share of celebrations, spills, and memorable moments.

The Collaboration Process: Seamless and Engaging

Working closely with Vier North’s co-owner and general contractors, our process was marked by effective communication and a shared vision for the project. The goal was to create a bar to withstand time and complement Milwaukee’s east side’s sophisticated yet gritty vibe. By blending modern and historic design elements, we paid homage to Vituccis‘s legacy and Milwaukee’s architectural beauty.

The Longest Granite Bar in Milwaukee: A Masterpiece of Craftsmanship

Spanning over 80 feet, the bar at Vier North is a marvel of engineering and design. It features sleek black granite enhanced with natural quartz inclusions, creating a mesmerizing effect that captivates guests. Natural quartz is very different from man-made quartz. The intricate details, such as the curves and the seamless appearance of the stone, underscore the craftsmanship and precision that went into this project.

Beyond the Bar: A Holistic Approach to Design

Our collaboration extended beyond the bar itself. We collaborated with the design team to ensure that the granite complemented other design elements, such as the Cream City brick and the bespoke tile work. This holistic approach ensured a cohesive aesthetic that elevated the entire space.

Crafting Durability and Style: The Granite Plus Edge

Whether it’s the bar’s durability, the elegance it adds to the space, or the collaboration process that made it all come together, this project showcases Granite Plus’s commitment to providing knowledge, design, solutions, and affordable results. Our collaboration with Vier North is a testament to this ethos, showcasing our commitment to crafting spaces as durable as they are aesthetically pleasing.

Installation: Smooth and Efficient

The installation process for a project of this magnitude required meticulous planning and coordination. Thanks to our strong partnership with the Vier North team and the general contractors, the installation was seamless, allowing us to tackle challenges and adapt to new ideas efficiently.

The Result: Elegance Meets Durability

Vier North and its patrons have provided overwhelmingly positive feedback. The granite bar is a durable surface for the bustling bar environment and a centerpiece that adds a touch of elegance to the space. It’s a testament that functionality and beauty can go hand in hand with the right materials and expertise.
